Ability to control gaming habits

This competing factor allows parents/carers to monitor and/or control the time spent by their children on the gaming console.

   At level 1, the time spent gaming in a single day is displayed; 

   At level 2, the time spent gaming over a week, with averages calculated, is displayed;

   At level 3, a monthly graphic is provided as well; 

   At level 4 parents/carers can allocate time using protected password systems – these ensure that only a certain period of gaming takes place; 

   At level 5 the console switches on and off on a password protected system when the allocated gaming time is exceeded.
