Ability to Program Games

This competing factor relates to buyers/users being able to program sections of a game themselves.  The console’s gaming software language would be made simpler and games would be shipped with the option for gamers to program parts of the game themselves, or extend pre-defined games in new directions.

   At level 1, buyers/users can make minor modifications to the shapes of key characters;

   At level 2, they can also insert standard sets of objects into the background to give them more control over the gaming world;

   At level 3, they can create new characters and program responses and actions into these from standard lists;

   At level 4, they can change scenarios in the games - these can affect the outcomes and rewards in the games;

   At level 5 buyers/users start with a blank slate where they can develop the game rules and then create the backgrounds and characters and assign them the actions and characteristics which fit into the gaming scenario.
