Controller Sophistication

This competing factor relates to the complexity of the game console controllers.

•   At level 1, a simple controller of no more than 6 buttons is offered. It can be operated with one hand.

•   At level 2, the number rises to 10 and two hands are necessary to operate it. 

•   At level 3, an extra 4 buttons are added to the controller. 

•   At level 4 the controller offering is a highly sophisticated controller with over 20 different buttons allowing games programmers to create a great variety of options and movements within their games. 

•   At level 5 the controller also responds to voice commands.
