Remote Doubles as a Telephone Handset

This competing factor relates to buyer/users wishing to conveniently answer the telephone whilst they are gaming.

•   At level 1, the ringing telephone automatically stops the game and route the call to the remote. 

•   At level 2, buyers/users have the choice as to whether to take the call or not.  They press a button which simultaneously pauses the game and routes the telephone call to the remote. 

•   At level 3 the telephone number of the caller appears on the gaming monitor allowing the buyer/user more control over whether to answer the call or not. 

•   At level 4 the controller can operate the receiver in a hands free manner, with an option to have the caller’s voice relayed over the gaming sound system. 

•   At level 5 a video link system is available with the option to have the caller appear on the gaming screen, or a window within the gaming screen.
