Exer-gaming / Exer-tainment

This competing factor involves active controllers that allow the gamer to exercise and move while gaming. 

   At lower levels of investment this competing factor involves a dancing mat which activates a small number of controls which allow the player to game. 

   At medium levels of investment, the controller is motion sensitive and can be positioned in 3D space. 

   At higher levels of investment, the controller could resemble ever more sophisticated sensors (such as gloves with individual finger control) or sensors which can determine the action of the whole body and reproduce it in cyberspace.  It could also involve scanners which can sense the position of the body and warn if any objects in the environment could be hit by accident.
