Multimedia Add-ons

This competing factor relates to the capabilities of the game console as a multimedia entertainment box. 

•   At level 1, in addition to the gaming capability, the console acts as a CD player. 

•   At level 2, connection with an MP3 player is possible. 

•   At level 3, ‘ripping and burning’ a CD to an MP3 player is possible. 

•   At level 4, the current industry standard, playing DVD’s is offered. 

•   At level 5, the console also plays HD (high definition) video discs.
