Space-saving footprint

This competing factor relates to the physical design of the console.  Instead of lying flat (so that the discs were placed horizontally in the console), the console would stand vertically.  Most houses and rooms are small and cluttered already, and one of the barriers to buying new goods for the kitchen or living room is that there is simply no space. 

•   At level 1, 40% of the footprint is reduced; at level 2 it is 55 %; at level 3 it is 70%;

•   At level 4 the footprint is reduced by 80% and the console has a detachable stand which has been designed to give the maximum amount of stability for the smallest footprint. 

•   At level 5, the console is ‘wall-mountable’ causing no bother at all.
