Once you have carefully drawn and debated several To-Be Strategy Canvases, you must decide on the one that you want to select as your Blue Ocean product. You will only be allowed to launch one product.
You may launch one of the Strategy Canvases drawn for the three types of noncustomers identified during the Visual Exploration. However, you may also decide to draw a fourth Strategy Canvas (a hybrid) and launch it on the market. For instance, it may happen that the ‘ideal’ product for a given noncustomer type is too complex to develop or too expensive to produce. In this case, you may decide to launch a slightly adjusted version. It may also happen that you identify commonalities across two or more groups, and you believe that you can design a Blue Ocean offering that would be attractive to a larger base of customers. For these two later cases, you will have to go back to the wizard, select the competing factors into the ERRC grid and draw the corresponding To-Be Strategy Canvas.
