To-Be Strategy Canvas Wizard
The BOSS simulation includes a wizard that will allow you to create several ERRC grids and their “To-Be Strategy Canvases”. You are encouraged to draw and debate the Strategy Canvases for each of the three Paths from three different ERRC grids. Alternatively, you may just complete one ERRC grid and derive the Strategy Canvas from this.
The wizard will guide you through four steps:
• Step 1 – Creating and naming a Strategy Canvas
• Step 2 – Putting the existing and potential competing factors into an ERRC grid
• Step 3 – Refining the Strategy Canvas which is automatically generated from your ERRC grid
• Step 4 – Viewing the To-Be Value Curve
• Step 5 – Viewing the financial consequences of each solution in term of the required R&D budget and the production unit cost.
These five steps are illustrated in Figure 3 below. Note: the example depicted in this figure is for illustration purpose only and is not representative of a good or poor solution.
